Autumn Theme · Call for Work
The Covert Collection invites photographers to submit work for our Autumn Theme Exhibition, exploring the season’s transitions—light shifting lower, shadows stretching longer, thresholds where one thing becomes another. This call is open to interpretation: it does not need to be about foliage or falling leaves. Autumn may be expressed through atmosphere, memory, mood, change, or contrast—however you see and feel the season. We are seeking photographic works that capture the essence and story of autumn in all its subtle nuances.

Submission Deadline: 13 September
Email your photograph(s) for consideration (details below).Drop-Off Window: 26 – 30 September
Deliver selected, wall-ready pieces during gallery hours or by appointment.Exhibition: 3 – 26 October
The Autumn Theme Exhibition is open to the public.Opening Night Artists’ Reception: 3 October
Celebrate the season with art, conversation, and community.Pick-Up Window: 27 – 30 October
Collect unsold work. We cannot hold photography beyond 30 October—pieces not picked up will be discarded.
Guidelines
Submissions are open to photography only.
Send digital samples (JPEG, up to 5MB each) with your name, title(s), and dimensions to: dennismaida@thecovertcollection.com
Photographers will be notified of acceptance by email following the deadline.
All accepted work must be delivered ready to hang.
No watermarks, borders, or signatures.
Please title your file as: LastName_FirstName_Title.jpg
(Example: Doe_John_MidnightSun.jpg)
Entry Fee
$30 for 3 images
$5 for each additional image
Payment is required at the time of submission. Entries without payment will not be reviewed.
